Integrating ACTIVENet with ACTIVE Captivate requires your organization to perform the following steps:
To enable ACTIVE Captivate:
To enable integration with ACTIVE Captivate, please contact your Account Manager to enable the ACTIVE Captivate license. Your organization will receive login credentials for the ACTIVE Captivate staff site.
Provide the following information to your Account Manager:
your organization’s Apple developer account. The ACTIVE Captivate iOS mobile app will then be published under your organization’s Apple account.
to re-brand the app name, please provide a name up to 30 characters long (19 characters will typically be visible on mobile devices) which includes your organization name and a 25-character long sub-title.
to customize the app icon, please provide a 1024*1024-pixel (width*height) PNG image file.
to customize the app start-up splash screen, please provide a 1242*2688-pixel (width*height) PNG image file.
To enable display of an ACTIVENet center and its facilities, activities, FlexReg programs, and equipment in ACTIVE Captivate, complete the following steps in the ACTIVENet AUI:
Note: if you have multiple centers to display in ACTIVE Captivate, repeat the following steps for each center.
To display a center in ACTIVE Captivate, select the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Locations > Centers > specific center > Change Center Details page > Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
(Optional) To customize the displayed image for the center, in the Image on ACTIVE Net Captivate App dropdown, select the required image (to add an image to ACTIVENet, open the Administration Home > System Settings > File Upload page).
To display a facility associated with the center in step1 in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Facility Settings > Facilities > a specific facility > Facility Detail page:
To display an equipment type associated with the center in step1 in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Equipment Settings > Equipment Types > specific equipment type > Change Equipment Type page:
Note that both activities and FlexReg programs from ACTIVENet are synchronized to display as activities in ACTIVE Captivate
Verify that the center in the Center dropdown is the same as the center in step 1.
Select the Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
To display an equipment item associated with the center in step1 and the equipment type in step 3 in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Equipment Settings > Equipment > specific equipment item > Equipment Detail page:
Verify that the center in the Center dropdown is the same as the center in step 1.
Verify that the equipment type in the Type dropdown is the same as the equipment type in step 3.
Select the Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
To display a FlexReg program category in ACTIVE Captivate, select the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > FlexReg Settings > Categories > specific category > Change Detailed Category page > Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
Categories with this checkbox enabled are displayed as options in the ACTIVE Net Captivate app > Category filter dropdown.
To display a FlexReg program belonging to the category in step 5 in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > FlexReg Settings > Programs > specific program > Program Details page:
Verify that the category in the FlexReg Primary Category dropdown is the same as the category in step 5.
Select the Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
(Optional) To customize the displayed image for the FlexReg program, in the Image on ACTIVE Net Captivate App dropdown, select the required image (to add an image to ACTIVENet, open the Administration Home > System Settings > File Upload page).
To display a FlexReg program session associated with the program in step 6 in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > FlexReg Settings > Sessions > specific session > Change Program Type Session page:
Verify that the facility in the Add Facility dropdown is the same as the facility in step 2.
Unselect the ‘Don't reserve facility?’ checkbox.
To enable display of activities of an activity type in ACTIVE Captivate, select the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Registration Settings > Activity Types > specific activity type > Change Activity Type page > Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
Note that unsupported components (Activity Lists, Private Lessons, and Teams/Groups) are automatically unselected.
To display a specific activity in ACTIVE Captivate, on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > Registration Settings > Activities > Activity Detail page:
Verify that the activity type in the Type dropdown is the same as the activity type in step 8.
Unselect the Meeting Dates, Times and Locations section > ‘Don't reserve facility?’ checkbox.
Click the Default Pattern section > Add Facility link and select the facility from step 2.
Select the Options section > Show on ACTIVE Net Captivate App checkbox.
(Optional) To customize the displayed image for the activity, in the Image on ACTIVE Net Captivate App dropdown, select the required image (to add an image to ACTIVENet, open the Administration Home > System Settings > File Upload page).
To grant access to the ACTIVE Captivate staff site to an ACTIVENet system user account, select the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > System Settings > System Users > select the required system user > System Admin? check box.
To view data synchronized from ACTIVENet in ACTIVE Captivate, login to the ACTIVE Captivate staff site:
For US organizations, the URL is https://captivate.active.com/Login.
For Canadian organizations, the URL is https://captivateca.active.com/Login.
and open the Customer management, Activity setup, Facility setup, Equipment setup or General tab.
Note:
Both activities and FlexReg programs from ACTIVENet are displayed as activities in ACTIVE Captivate.
ACTIVENet data is synchronized to ACTIVE Captivate every 5 minutes. After configuring an item in the ACTIVENet AUI, the item may require up to 5 minutes before appearing in ACTIVE Captivate.
Activity Category is an optional setting for an ACTIVENet activity. If it is not configured for the activity, then in the ACTIVE Captivate App, when filtering activities by:
the All categories option, this activity is included in the results.
a specific activity category, this activity is excluded from the results.
To allow consumers to filter activities by category in the ACTIVE Captivate App, you can configure an activity category for the activities.
For reservations made in the ACTIVE Captivate app, check in/check-out in the ACTIVE Net AUI is not supported.
To add an image file which can then be displayed in the ACTIVE Captivate app, you must first upload the image on the ACTIVE Net AUI > Administration Home > System Settings > File Upload page. The image can then be displayed in the ACTIVE Captivate app by selecting it in the Image on ACTIVE Net Captivate App dropdown.
The recommended image dimensions for centers, facilities, activities and FlexReg programs are H1024*W1024. Mobile devices have a variety of screen resolutions, so for a better visual effect, ensure that the main content in the image is centered.
In the ACTIVE Net AUI, activities are reserved by spots. In the ACTIVE Captivate App, activities are reserved by days.
After completing the above configuration in the ACTIVENet AUI, in the ACTIVE Captivate staff site:
To customize the organization name displayed in the ACTIVE Captivate app, in ACTIVE Captivate staff site, hover the cursor over the organization, click the edit icon and then enter the required display name (the default organization name is the name configured on the ACTIVENet AUI > Administration Home > System Settings > Organization page).
