If you have multiple activities that must share a single pool of seats, then add the activities to an activity group.
You can use activity groups to specify a maximum number of registrants for a group of activities instead of for each individual activity.
Once this number of registrants has been reached across all activities in the group, ACTIVE Net will not allow any further enrollments into any of the group's activities, even if individual activities still have open spots.
Go to Administration > Registration Settings > Activities.
Search for and select one of the activities that you want to add to the activity group.
On the Activity Functions page, click Manage Activity Group.
To add a second activity to an activity group together with the current activity, click Add From Existing Records.
Search for and select the second activity that you want to add to the group.
Click Add All Selected.
Notes:
An activity can only belong to one activity group. You cannot add an activity to this group if it is already part of a different activity group.
Parent activities cannot be added to an activity group but sub-activities can.
Repeat steps 4-6 for any other activities that you want to add to the group.
Enter the maximum number of registrants for this activity group in the The maximum number of registrants to share is box.
Click Save.
Note: To remove a single activity from this activity group, select the checkbox for the activity that you want to remove and click Remove. To delete the whole group (and remove all activities from the group), click Delete.
