Journal transfer

Use this page to record manual journal entries of debit and credit transfers made to general ledger accounts.

 

The following options are included on the Journal Entry page:

Amount of the debit.

Staff Notes

Staff notes to attach to the journal entries. 

 

These are used for internal reference and are not printed on the customer receipt.

 

They can be a combination of standard notes (selected from a list) and typed notes.

Customer Notes

Dropdown list / Textbox

Customer notes to attach to the journal entries.

 

These are used to record any details about a customer that may relate to the journal entry.

 

These notes can be a combination of standard notes (selected from a list) and typed notes.
