Configure expiration warning email

This page is used to configure warning emails that are used to notify customers that their membership packages will soon expire.

From the Package Functions page, clicking the Change Expiration Warning link opens the Configure Expiration Warning page where you can create a new expiration warning email.

Modifying Expiration Warning Emails

From the Package Functions page, clicking the Change Expiration Warning link opens the Configure Expiration Warning page allowing you to make the necessary changes.

 

The following fields are available on the Configure Expiration Warning Email page with the option to Save at the bottom of the page:

Email Customer ( _ ) Days Before Expiration

 

Enter the number of days to notify customers prior to their membership expiration date.

 

Note: To disable the warning expiration email, enter 0 (default). The Email Details section is then hidden.

Email Details

From

Dropdown

Name and email of the person or organization sending the email.

 

Click Edit/Add to open the From Address List window and add recipients.

Bcc

Email address

Enter one or multiple email addresses as Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) for the Expiration Warning Email to the staff.

Subject Text

Text

Text will appear in the Subject line of the email

Merge Field

 

Field that can be mail-merged with the body of the email, as selected from either First Name or Last Name.

Insert

Button

Click the Insert button to include the merge field in the body of the email.

 

For example, the customer's first name can be merged with the email body as "Dear %%FirstName%%,", where %%FirstName%% will be replaced by the customer's first name in the actual email.
