System settings - tax receipt

This page is used to configure a site-wide tax receipt record. Included is the ability to define age ranges and transaction eligibility for tax receipts.

 

Tip: You can use this feature for the Canadian Child Fitness tax receipt.

How do I get to this page?

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Financial Settings > Tax Receipt.

 

The following fields are available on the System Settings - Tax Receipt page:

Name of the tax receipt.

Age Range from - to

Numeric

Age range for which the tax receipt will be applicable.

Age as of

Date

Date when the age range is applicable, entered in month, day, year format, or by clicking the calendar icon calendar.JPG and selecting a date from the pop-up calendar.

FEIN

Text box

(Optional) Enter the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) for your organization.

 

This identifies your employees as tax payers and will be displayed in your organization's tax receipts.

Charity Registration ID

Text box

(Optional) Enter the Charity Registration ID for your organization.

 

This identifies your organization as a charity and will be displayed in your organization's tax receipts.

Process payment records to allow splitting of payments by service date

Drop down

Select to process charges for enrollments for display in Tax Receipt reports:

  • Only on the payment date by selecting the No option (selected by default).
  • Distributed across multiple years' Tax Receipts by service date by selecting the Yes option.

Note: Processing of payment records will occur overnight and may take several days.

FlexReg

Drop down

Select to display charges for FlexReg enrollments:

  • Only on the payment date by selecting the Display payments on the payment date option (selected by default).
  • Distributed across multiple years' Tax Receipt reports by service dates by selecting the Split payment by service date option.

Note: This setting cannot be changed while FlexReg payment records are being processed.

Activity

Drop down

Select to display charges for activity enrollments:

  • Only on the payment date by selecting the Display payments on the payment date option (selected by default).
  • Distributed across multiple years' Tax Receipt reports by service dates by selecting the Split payment by service date option.

Note: This setting cannot be changed while activity payment records are being processed.
