Activity other categories are parallel activity filters that you can use in conjunction with activity categories to classify and group your activities.
For example: your activity categories may be 'Aquatics', 'Fitness', and 'Sport Camps'; while your activity other categories may be 'Adult', 'Youth', and 'Senior'.
Note: You do not need to first create an activity category in order to create an 'other' category.
The following options are included on the Change Activity Other Category Detail page:

Use Active.com Search Channels to categorize the activity other category so that online customers can easily search for them on the public interface. Select one or more channels in one or more categories, and customers who search for those channels through the public interface see activities within this category.

Hobbies & Interests
Outdoor Activities
Sciences
Self & Family
Sports
To select channels:
Select a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 channels in the Available list.
Note: You can use these channels to constrain which channels and sub-channels are available for online customers to select at the activity level for activities in this category.
To move the selected channels to the Selected list, click the >> (right arrow) button.
Click Save to save your changes.
