Assign interest list

Interest lists are used to group customers together by area of interest for email or letter notifications. Interest lists are often used for marketing new offerings to your customer base.

 

Interest lists are maintained as a master list and individual lists can be assigned to activities, facilities, membership packages, daycare programs or individual customers.

Prerequisite Components

Prior to assigning interest lists, the Master List must be configured.

Where are they found?

Select the Administration tab.

Activities:

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Registration Settings > Activities.

    3. Search for and select the desired activity.

    4. Select the Change Activity Interest List link.

Facilities:

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Facility Settings > Facilities.

    3. Select the desired facility.

    4. Select the Change Facility Interest List link.

Membership packages:

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Membership Settings > Packages.

    3. Search for and select the desired package.

    4. Select the Change Package Interest List link.

Daycare programs:

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Daycare Settings > Programs.

    3. Select the desired daycare program.

    4. Select the Change Interest List link.

Customers:

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Population Settings > Customers.

    3. Search for and select the desired customer.

    4. Select the Change Customer Interest List link.

OR

    1. Select the Front Desk tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Population > Customers.

    3. Search for and select the desired customer.

    4. Select the Change Customer Interest List link.

What can I do on this page?

Displayed on the Change Interest List page is a list of all interest lists maintained in the system. 

 

Multiple interest lists can be assigned to an individual item and an interest list can be assigned to multiple items.

 

Interest lists that have been assigned to an item/customer are displayed under the Opt-in listbox, while unassigned interest lists are displayed under the Opt-out listbox.

 

Click the Cancel and go back link to return to the previous page.

 

The following actions can be performed in the Change Interest List page, with the option to Save any changes at the bottom of the page:

Interest List

Opt-out Listbox List of all interest lists maintained in the system that can be assigned to items/customers.

 

Select a desired interest list, then click the right-arrow button to assign it to the item (interest list will be transferred to the Opt-in listbox).

Opt-in Listbox Interest lists that are already assigned to the item/customer.

 

Select a desired interest list, then click the left-arrow button to remove it from the item (the interest list will be returned to the Opt-out listbox).
