Skills

Skills are abilities, talents, competencies, proficiencies, or credentials. These can be attached to activity instructors, league officials and customers.

 

Skills can also be attached to activities to denote which skills will be taught or performed in those activities. Skills are also used as search criteria for activities and instructors.

Where are they found?

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: System Settings > Skills.

How are they added or modified?

To add

From the Skill List page, clicking Add New brings you to the Change Skill page, allowing you to create a new record.

 

To modify

From the Skill List page, clicking an underlined skill Title displays the Change Skill page, allowing you to make any necessary changes.

 

On the Change Skill page, you will find the following input fields with the option to Save or Delete the record at the bottom of the page:

Name of Field Type Description

Skill Title

Hyperlink

Title of the skill.

Required.

Description Text Description of the skill.
Available for Checkboxes Option to make the skill available for attachment to Activities, Customers, Instructors, Officials and Programs.
 
Note: At least one checkbox must be selected.
