Change waiting list

The waiting list is a list of customers who are not yet registered in an activity (normally because there are currently no slots available) but have expressed the desire to register if a slot opens up. 

 

A waiting list normally exists only when an activity is full but customers may also be added to the waitlist even while there are still remaining slots available.

 

Note that a waitlist can only be created if the Allow Wait Listing checkbox is selected on the Change Activity Details page.

Where are they found?

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: Registration Settings > Activities.

    3. Search for and select the desired activity.

    4. Select the Change Waiting List link.

How are they modified?

The Change Waiting List page displays the list of customers on the waiting list in the order in which they were placed on the list. 

 

To go back to the Activity Functions page, click the Cancel and go back to Activity Functions link on top of the page.

 

The following actions are available to modify the waiting list for an activity, with the option to Submit at the bottom of the page to save any changes:

Requested Seats Numeric Number of requested seats
Move to front of list Button Option to move a selected customer to the front or top of the waiting list.
 
The customer in front of the list is normally registered first when a slot becomes available (but this can be overridden by the user).
 
Select a customer from the list then click the button.
Move up one position Button Option to move a selected customer question one position up on the waiting list.
 
Select a customer from the list then click the button.
Move to back of list Button Option to move a selected customer to the back or bottom of the waiting list.
 
Select a customer from the list then click the button.
Move down one position Button Option to move a selected customer question one position down on the waiting list.
 
Select a customer from the list then click the button.
Remove selected entries Button Option to remove a selected customer from the waiting list.
 
Select a customer from the list then click the button.
