This report shows deferred revenues and their details, such as revenue site, transaction site, facility, daycare program, and recognized revenue.
You can optionally display deferred revenue details such as summary report, report modules, and group by.
Reports > Financial Reports > Deferred Revenue Report
Clicking the Recall / Schedule a saved report definition button at the top of the page takes you to the Report Definitions page, where you can select a previously saved report definition.
Select any or all of the following filters for this report:
Click the GL Account link to pop-up the GL Account List page.
From the GL Account List page, select the GL accounts.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the GL accounts, you can select the GL accounts in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Cost Center link to pop-up the Cost Center List page.
From the Cost Center List page, select the cost centers.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the cost centers, you can select the cost center in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Revenue Site link to pop-up the Revenue Site List page.
From the Revenue Site List page, select the revenue sites.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the revenue sites, you can select the revenue site in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Transaction Site link to pop-up the Transaction Site List page.
From the Transaction Site List page, select the transaction sites.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the transaction sites, you can select the transaction site in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the System User link to pop-up the System User List page.
From the System User List page, select the system users.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the system users, you can select the system user in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Activity link to pop-up the Activity Search page and then enter some criteria to select the activities. The activity search results will be displayed on the Select Activity page.
From the Select Activity page, select the activities.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the activities, you can select the activity in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Activity Category link to pop-up the Activity Category List page.
From the Activity Category List page, select the activity categories.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the activity categories, you can select the activity category in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Daycare Program link to pop-up the Daycare Program Search page and then enter some criteria to select the daycare programs. The daycare program search results will be displayed on the Select Daycare Program page.
From the Select Daycare Program page, select the daycare programs.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the daycare programs, you can select the daycare program in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Package link to pop-up the Package Search page and then enter some criteria to select the packages. The package search results will be displayed on the Select Package List page.
From the Select Package List page, select the packages.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the packages, you can select the package in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Facility link to pop-up the Facility Search page and then enter some criteria to select the facilities. The facility search results will be displayed on the Select Facility List page.
From the Select Facility List page, select the facilities.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the facilities, you can select the facility in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
Click the Facility Type link to pop-up the Facility Type List page.
From the Facility Type List page, select the facility types.
Click Add All Selected. To remove the facility types, you can select the facility type in the list box then click Remove at the right side.
To view deferred revenue as of a specific date, enter the date in the As of Date box.
Notes:
When you enter an As of Date, ACTIVE Net only shows a deferred revenue amount if its original transaction was on or before the As of Date and if its revenue recognition dates are after the As of Date.
The As of Date box is unavailable if you have entered dates in the Revenue Recognized or the Transaction Date/Time boxes.
Click the calendar icon beside the From box and select a Beginning Date of Recognized Revenue from the pop-up calendar.
Click the calendar icon beside the To box and select an Ending Date of Recognized Revenue from the pop-up calendar.
The Day of Week field beside the calendar icon will automatically be completed.
Note: This option is unavailable if you have entered an As of Date.
Click the calendar icon beside the From box and select a Beginning Date of Transaction from the pop-up calendar.
Click the calendar icon beside the To box and select an Ending Date of Transaction from the pop-up calendar.
The Day of Week field beside the calendar icon will automatically be completed.
Enter in the Time box the times of day for transaction.
Notes:
When you enter a Transaction Date range, the Deferred Revenue report shows deferred revenue if the original transaction was within that date range. The Deferred Revenue report shows deferred revenue linked to these transactions, whether the revenue has already been recognized or whether the revenue is still being deferred at the present time.
This option is unavailable if you have entered an As of Date.
Select the Summary Report checkbox to generate a summary report which only displays the revenue account name/number and the total deferred revenue amount for the account.
Select the Registration checkbox to display the deferred revenue of activity registration on the report.
Select the Daycare checkbox to display the deferred revenue of program enrollment on the report.
Select the Facilities checkbox to display the deferred revenue of permit reservation on the report.
Select the Membership checkbox to display the deferred revenue of membership on the report.
Select the Equipment Loan checkbox to display the deferred revenue of membership on the report.
Choose the option from the Group by drop-down list to arrange report records as selected from a pre-defined list. The options include:
Revenue GL Account: Group report records by the GL account where revenue is recognized.
Month, Revenue GL Account: First group report records by month, then group report records by the revenue GL account within month.
Deferred Revenue GL Account: Group report records by the GL account for deferred revenue.
Site, Revenue GL account: to group Deferred Revenue by site, then by GL account.
Note:
You can view the Site, Revenue GL account option only when:
The user profile has the Multi-Site Reports permission.
The Summary Report checkbox is checked.
Option to include data from transactions that were created on the customer (public access) site.
Note: This option is only visible to system users who do not have a multi-site user profile.
Choose the option from the Output Type drop-down list to select the output type or format of the report, as selected from a predefined list. The available output types are Adobe Acrobat Reader, HTML, and Microsoft Excel.
Enter in the Report Title box the desired report title.
Click Save to save the report definition using the current report title entered. If the report title has been changed, the original report title will be replaced by the new one.
Click Save As to save another version of the report definition using a different report title.
Click Recall/Schedule on top of the page to access a previously saved report definition from the Report Definitions page.
