Each type of magstripe printer requires its own unique prefix and suffix for magstripe encoding. You can specify the prefix and suffix for your printer on the Workstations page.
Ensure that you have Arial Unicode MS (OpenType) as one of your installed fonts in the Windows Control Panel.
In ACTIVE Net, go to System Settings > Workstations.
Select a workstation from the Workstation List page.
Choose one of the following:
To configure a DTC 550, enter ^2; as the Membership Prefix and ? as the Membership Suffix.
To configure a DTC 1000, enter ~1% as the Membership Prefix and ? as the Membership Suffix.
Click Save.
