Use the Fee Settings page to set the absorption settings for convenience fees on a site-by-site basis. Modify the options on this page if you want your site to use fee absorption settings that are different from the default settings for your organization.
Go to Administration > Locations > Sites.
Click Fee Settings for the site that you want to modify.
Select Override Global Absorb Fee Settings?
In the Absorb Public Processing Fees section, select one of the following options:
Do not absorb any processing fees: All processing fees are passed on to the customer.
Absorb all processing fees: Your organization pays all processing fees, with no fees passed on to the customer.
Only absorb processing fees for: Your organization only pays the processing fees for customers of specific customer types and/or members of specific packages. Customers who are not these customer types and who are not members of these packages pay for their own processing fees.
Receipts for these customers types: Click Add types. On the Customer Type List page, select the customer types to absorb processing fees for.
Receipts for members of these packages: Click Add packages. On the Package search page, search for and select the packages to absorb processing fees for.
Note: The Absorbed Processing Fee Distribution section below is not available if you have selected Do not absorb any processing fees above.
In the Absorbed Processing Fee Distribution section, specify how you want to distribute the absorption of processing fees between your organization and your customers:
Absorb the full processing fee: Your organization pays all processing fees.
Absorb only the % rate (customer pays the fixed amount portion): Your organization pays for the fixed percentage rate of the processing fees.
Absorb_% of the full processing fee: Your organization pays a percentage rate of the total processing fees.
Charge customers up to $_ per item and absorb any remainder: Your customers pay a specific amount in processing fees for each item and your organization pays for the remainder.
Absorb up to $_ per item and charge customer any remainder: Your organization pays a specific amount in processing fees for each item your customers pay for the remainder.
Charge customer up to $_ for all items covered by this contract and absorb any remainder: Your customers pay a specific amount in processing fees for all items covered by this contract and your organization pays for the remainder.
Absorb up to $_ for all items covered by this contract and charge customer any remainder: Your organization pays a specific amount in processing fees for all items covered by this contract and your customers pay for the remainder.
Click Save.
