Enter your instructors into ACTIVE Net before setting up your activities. You can attach one or more instructors to each activity.
For complete descriptions of the options in a section, click the section name below.
Go to Administration > Registration Settings > Instructors.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new instructor who does not yet exist in the system as a customer:
On the Instructor Search page, click Add New.
On the Customer Search for Instructor page, click Add New.
To create a new instructor who already exists in the system as a customer:
On the Instructor Search page, click Add New.
Search for and select the customer that you want to add as an instructor.
To modify an existing instructor:
Search for and select the instructor that you want to modify.
Click Change Details.
In the Customer Information section, enter the First and Last Name, Phone number, and any other necessary information.
In the Security Information section, enter the instructor's Login Name and Password for the customer (public access) site, if applicable.
In the Instructor Information section, enter the instructor's Employee Number and/or any other necessary information.
To email the instructor when participants are registered in activities assigned to him/her:
Select Email Registration Notification?
Specify which of the instructor's activities qualify for email notifications in the Qualifying Activities for Email Registration Notification sub-section.
In the Instructor Contract and Payment Due Report Details section, specify the information about the instructor that will print on the Instructor Contract and the Instructor Payment Due reports.
In the Automatically Add Instructors to the following Activity Types section, specify any activity types that this instructor will automatically be associated with, if applicable.
In the Instructor Skills section, specify any skills that are associated with this instructor, if applicable.
Click Save.
