If your organization uses refund requests, then you can place a request to refund an individual customer's account credits. You can display a customer's available account credits, indicate which account credits you want to request a refund for, and create, edit, or cancel a refund request.
Choose one of the following:
Go to Administration > Population Settings > Customers or Companies.
Search for and select the customer or company that you want to view.
On the Customer Account Functions page, click Request Refund.
Go to Front Desk > Population > Customers or Companies.
Search for and select the customer or company that you want to view.
On the Customer Account Functions page, click Request Refund.
Go to Front Desk > Refund menu > Request Refund.
Search for and select the customer or company that you want to view.
On the Request Refunds page, click an amount in the Requested column to request a refund for that amount.
Choose one of the following:
To request a refund for this customer:
Select Request Refund.
Enter the Amount that you want to refund.
Select the Reason for the refund.
Click Request.
To refund immediately to this customer:
Select Refund Now (you must have the Front Desk: Refund - Process Refund Request system user profile option in order to refund immediately).
Enter the Amount that you want to refund.
Enter any Staff or Customer Notes.
Click Refund.
Continue with the refund process as usual.
