Tax Receipt

The Tax Receipt report generates a receipt for each customer who made a payment within a given tax year towards an activity, membership, or daycare program that is eligible for tax receipts.

 

    1. Go to Reports > Financial Reports > Tax Receipt.

    2. In the Filters section, specify the Customers, Revenue Sites, Transaction Sites, and/or any other details that you want to use to filter the report, if necessary.

    3. In the Options section:

      1. Select the tax Year that you want to print/email receipts for.

      2. To print/email tax receipts for customers regardless of age restrictions, select the Ignore configured age restrictions? checkbox.

      3. For tax receipts that have previously been printed/emailed, in the Previously printed/emailed receipts dropdown, select to:

        • Print/email all tax receipts.

        • Exclude all previously printed/emailed tax receipts.

        • Only print/email duplicates (unchanged since the last printing) tax receipts only.

        • Only print/email replacements (changed since the last printing) tax receipts only.

      4. In the Retired dropdown, select to:

        • Print receipts for all customers.

        • Exclude retired customers' tax receipts from printing.

        • Print/email Only retired customers' tax receipts.

      5. Choose one of the following options from the Receipt Action list:

        • To print out a physical receipt for each customer in the report, select Print Receipts for all customers.

          • Select the Language in which to print the receipts.

        • To email a receipt to each customer in the report who has an email address stored in the system, select Email Receipts to customers with email.

          • Emailed receipts are automatically generated in the customer's preferred language.

        • To print out a physical receipt for each customer in the report who does not have an email address stored in the system, select Print Receipts for customers without email.

          • Select the Language in which to print the receipts.

        • For better performance, select the Run report (excluding scheduled reports) one user at a time setting. Note that if a staff user has submitted a request to run the report with this setting selected, then until their report is generated, other requests to run the report will be rejected.

      6. Select the Output Type for the report.

      7. Select any other necessary information that you want to include in the report.

    4. Click Run Report.
