Transaction comparison report

This report compares transaction data across three date ranges that you specify yourself. For each date range, the Transaction Comparison report shows both the total number of transactions and the total revenue taken in through the front desk (staff site) and online (public access site).

 

    1. Go to Reports > Financial Reports > Transaction Comparison.

    2. Select the type of transactions that you want to compare from the Transaction Comparison Report by list.

    3. Click Continue.

    4. To only compare transactions from an existing list of customers, select the list from the Custom Lists section.

    5. In the General section:

      1. Enter the Main Comparison Period Date Range for transactions that you want to compare in the report.

      2. Note: Either enter From and To dates for the date range or select a period from the dropdown list.

      3. Enter a Second Period Date Range for transactions that you want to compare to transactions in the main period above.

      4. Note: To have ACTIVE Net calculate the length of the main comparison period and automatically use the same number of days immediately prior to the main comparison period, select Same range, previous period.

      5. Enter a Third Period Date Range for transactions that you want to compare to transactions in the main period above.

      6. Note: To have ACTIVE Net automatically use the same date range as the main comparison period but in the previous year, select Same range, last year.

      7. To include subtotals for each sub-group selected above, select Include Details?

      8. To include a summary of the transaction comparisons in the report, select Include Summary?

      9. To include free registrations in the report, select Include $0 Transactions?

      10. To divide the report data into sub-groups, select the groups that you want to use from the Group by (1st) and/or Group by (2nd) lists.

      11. Select the Output Type for the report.

      12. Select any other necessary information that you want to include in the report.

    6. Click Run Report.
