Alternate key statuses

Alternate key statuses are the groups that define the levels of access within alternate key types. For example: a student ID alternate key can have statuses such as part-time, full-time or alumni.

 

Each of these statuses may or may not grant the customer privileges that are equivalent to membership privileges in ACTIVE Net.

 

Note that the Membership Privileges column on the Alternate Key Statuses page indicates whether the alternate key status grants membership privileges.

Option to retire the alternate key status so that it does not appear on the list of available alternate key statuses.

Membership Privileges

To grant membership privileges to someone with this alternate key status, select this option.

 

To deny membership privileges, clear this option.

 

Note: This setting determines whether a customer can gain access to entry points using their swipe card. See Scanning Details.

Suspend if inactive for ____ days

Note: This option is only available if you have selected Membership Privileges (that is, if the alternate key status determines the customer's membership status).

 

Set the number of days with no action on the customer's account after which the account is locked.
