The status of an activity determines where it is found and what you can do to it.
You can change the status of an activity individually at the activity level or by batch on the Retire Activities page or the Activity Status Change page (for Open/Closed activities).
Activity General Settings Change
Available statuses are:
Open: The activity is available for searching and registration. Although Open is the default status for new activities, you can change an activity's status to tentative if you are not ready for registration to begin.
Closed: The activity is not included in the default search on the staff site. It is listed as closed and not available for registration on the customer site.
Cancelled: The activity is no longer being held and all facility reservations have been removed. The activity is not included in the default search on the staff site. It is listed as cancelled and not available for registration on the customer site. You must refund all registrations separately from the activity cancellation - this does not happen automatically.
Note: To specify a Cancelled as of date (the date when the cancellation is effective in ACTIVE Net), select Cancelled, then click the calendar icon and select a date.
Tentative: The activity is not included in the default search on the staff site and does not display on the customer site. Use a Tentative status for activities that are very close to the minimum enrollment and may not end up running. Retired activities that are copied to a new season are automatically assigned this status.
On Hold: The activity is not included in the default search on the staff site and does not display on the customer site. Use an On Hold status for activities that have a technical issue and may not end up running.
Retired: The activity is no longer active and is only available for reporting. Customers cannot register in retired activities. You cannot return retired activities to an active status.
Date Conflicted: The activity is not included in the default search on the staff site and does not display on the customer site. Use a Date Conflicted status for activities that may not end up running at the selected facility and so need to have this updated before you can set them to Open.
Deleted: The activity is completely removed from ACTIVE Net. You can only delete an activity if it has no associated transactions. If any of an activity's sub-activities cannot be deleted, then the parent activity is not deleted either.
