League types

League types are used to classify and group leagues and tournaments mainly for reporting purposes. 

 

League types may be, for example, ‘Adult’, ‘Teen’, ‘Youth’ or ‘Men’, ‘Women’, ‘Co-Rec’ etc.

Where are they found?

    1. Select the Administration tab.

    2. Select the following menu links: League Settings > League types.

How are they added or modified?

To add

From the League Type List page, clicking Add New brings you to the Change League Type page, allowing you to create a new record.

 

To modify

From the League Type List page, clicking an underlined league type Description displays the Change League Type page, allowing you to make any necessary changes.

 

On the Change League Type page, you will find the following input fields, with the option to Save or Delete the record at the bottom of the page:

Required.
Score for Forfeits Numeric

If a team forfeits, this will be the score that is recorded for the team that is present, while the team which forfeited will be scored 0.

 
Required and must be greater than 0.
