POS products can be grouped within three different levels: product departments are the top level. Product departments can contain product classes and sub-classes.
Go to Administration > POS Settings > Product Departments.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new product department, click Add New.
To modify an existing product department, click the Description of the department that you want to modify.
Enter a brief Description of the product department.
Click Save.
