Discounts report

This report is used to display discounts that have been applied to transactions for a given date range.

 

The report will show the name of the discount, the relevant amount, the customer account which received the discount and the transaction to which it was applied. The name of the user who applied the discount will also be displayed.

Location

Reports > Financial Reports > Discounts

 

Note that only users with the Discounts Report security profile or the existing All Financial Reports security profile will be able to run this report.

 

Clicking the Recall / Schedule a saved report definition button at the top of the page takes you to the Report Definitions page, where you can select a previously saved report definition.

Options

Summary Report

Checkbox

Option to hide detailed customer and transaction information and show only the totals for each discount.

Group By

Dropdown list

Option to group records by the following options:

  • Discount + User - Group records by discount and then by user.

  • User + Discount - Group records by user and then by discount.

  • Customer+ Discount - Group records by customer and then by discount.

Include Online Transactions?

Checkbox

Option to include data from transactions that were created on the customer (public access) site.

 

Note: This option is only visible to system users who do not have a multi-site user profile.

Output Type

Dropdown list

The output type or format of the report, as selected from a predefined list.

 

The available output types are Adobe Acrobat Reader, HTML, and Microsoft Excel.

Save Report Definition

Report Title

Text

Option to save the report definition for later use.
