Cash summary over/short report

To see an overview of all your cash summary sheets over a specific date range, including the over/short amount for each cash summary sheet, run the Cash Summary Over/Short report. This report lists cash summary sheets grouped by workstation.

 

For each cash summary sheet, the report shows the CSS ID, the user, the open/close date, a summary of the payments received and amounts entered for each payment type, the float amount, and the over/short amount.

 

Note: This report only displays cash summary sheets that have a status of Reset.

 

    1. Go to Reports > Financial Reports > Cash Summary Over/Short.

    2. In the Filters section, select the Workstation, System User, Date, and/or any other information to filter the report.

    3. In the Options section:

      1. To include zero-balance cash summary sheets in the report, select Include Zero Balance Cash Summary Sheet?

      2. Select the Output Type for the report.

    4. Click Run Report.
