Activity/daycare other categories are activity or daycare program groups that can be used in conjunction with activity categories to classify and group activities and daycare programs.
For example: the activity categories may be 'Aquatics', 'Fitness', and 'Sport Camps'; and the activity other categories may be 'Adult', 'Youth', and 'Senior'. You do not need to first create an activity or daycare category in order to create an other category.
Choose one of the following:
To add or modify an activity other category, go to Administration > Registration Settings > Activity Other Categories.
To add or modify a daycare other category, go to Administration > Daycare Settings > Other Categories.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new other category, click Add New.
To modify an existing other category, click the Name of the other category.
Enter the Name of the other category.
To exclude activities within this category from the list of activities displayed on the customer (public access) site, select Hide on Internet?
To create an mailing list (interest list) that includes all customers who enroll in an activity from this other category, select Link Interest List?
Select an Active.com search channel to categorize the activity category for easier searching through the public interface:
Note: These channels are used to constrain which channels and sub-channels are available to select at the activity level for activities in this category.
Click Save.
