Use the Equipment Category Detail page to view and modify equipment categories.
Go to Administration > Equipment Settings > Equipment Categories.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new equipment category, click Add New.
To modify an existing equipment category, click the Description of the category.
Enter a brief Description of the equipment category.
Select the Site that the equipment category is linked to.
To retire the equipment category and prevent it from displaying in equipment category lists, select Prevent Further Use?
To prevent equipment categories from displaying in equipment category lists on the Public Access (customer) site, select Hide on Internet?
Click Save.
