Checking bookable equipment in or out

Use the Equipment Check-in/Check-out page to check bookable equipment in and out or to view equipment check-in and check-out history.

Note: You must book a piece of equipment before you can check it out on this page.

1. Go to Front Desk. In the side-bar, click Reserve and select Equipment Check-in/out.

2. Choose one of the following:

• Check equipment out.

  1. Click Check-out.

  2. In the Check-out Search section, enter search criteria to find the equipment that you want to check out.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. In the Check-out section, select the Check-out checkbox for the equipment that you want to check out.

  5. Select a Check-out Option.

  Note: Choose one of the following options:

  • Free early check-out: No change in the reservation start time or charges, just records the current time as the check-out time.

  • Charge early check-out: Modifies the reservation start time to the current time and recalculates the charges, records the current time as the check-out time.

  • No early check-out: Does not allow the equipment item to be checked out early.

  6. If you want to apply an additional charge at this time, click Add Charge.

  7. Click Submit.

• Check equipment in.

  1. Click Check-in.

  2. In the Check-in Search section, enter search criteria to find the (previously checked out) equipment that you want to check in.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. In the Check-in section, select the Check-in checkbox for the equipment that you want to check in.

  5. Select a Status for the equipment at the time of the check-in.

  6. Select a Check-in Option.

  Note: Choose one of the following options:

  • Free late check-in: No change in reservation end time or charges, just records the current time as the check-in time.

  • Charge late check-in: Modifies the reservation end time to the current time and recalculates the charges and records the current time as the check-in time.

  7. If you want to apply an additional charge at this time, click Add Charge.

  8. Click Submit.

• View history for equipment check-outs and check-ins.

  1. Click View History.

  2. In the History Search section, enter search criteria to find the check-outs and check-ins that you want to view.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. Choose one of the following, if necessary:

  • If you want to apply an additional charge to one of the permits at this time, click Add Charge.

  • If you want to view further details about a permit, click the Permit # for the permit that you want to view.
