You can notify ACTIVE Net about times when you expect volume on the customer (public access) site to be high so that ACTIVE Net can take special measures to optimize performance during those times.
Go to Administration > System Settings > Peak Volume Periods.
Choose one of the following:
To specify a new peak volume period, click Add New.
To modify an existing peak volume period, click the corresponding link in the Peak Volume Period column.
Enter a unique Name for this peak volume period so that you can recognize it later.
Enter both a Start Date and Time and an End Date and Time for this peak volume period.
Notes:
The start date and time must be in the future.
You can edit the end date and time for a peak volume period even if the start date and time has already passed, as long as the end date and time is still in the future.
If this registration event occurs every year:
Select Is this an annual registration event?
Enter the date last year when this registration event occurred.
Specify an approximate number of registrations in the Expected registrations in first 10 minutes? list.
Specify an approximate number of registrations in the Expected registrations in first hour? list.
Select the types of marketing tools that you have used to promote this registration event, if applicable.
Select all event types associated with this peak volume period in the Type of rush event? section.
Click Save.
The following functionality will be disabled during Peak Volume Period:
Processing payroll (Administration > Financial Settings > Process Payroll or Front Desk > Financial > Process Payroll)
Running the cash out process (Front Desk > Financial > Run Cash Out Process)
Customer consolidation (Administration > Population Settings > Customers - Consolidate or Front Desk > Population > Customers - Consolidate)
Company consolidation (Administration > Population Settings > Companies - Consolidate or Front Desk > Population > Companies - Consolidate)
Downloading a database backup (Administration > Web Admin > Download DB Backup)
SkyLogix export (Administration Home > System Settings > Peak Volume Periods)
Note: Every function will perform normally in the Staff and Public Interfaces except for Reports, which will not be generated. Scheduled reports will run on a delay and will be sent out once the peak volume period is completed.
