Creating a returning renter reservation

If a customer has previously booked a facility and wants to make the same booking again for a new period in a new permit, you can use the returning renter reservation process to quickly create the new permit. For example, if a customer had previously booked the first week in September and now wants to book the same week for the following year, you can use a returning renter reservation to create a new permit based on the dates of the previous permit.

 

    1. Go to Front Desk > Returning Renter Reservation.

    2. Search for and select the customer who qualifies as a returning renter.

    3. On the Find Reservation Candidates page, enter search criteria for the facility that the returning renter wants to book.

    4. On the Previous Rentals page, select the facility that you want to book.

    5. Click Continue Reservation.

    6. On the Previous Reservations page, select the booking that you want to repeat.

    7. Click Continue Reservation.

    8. In the Repeat Pattern section, select the method that you want to use in repeating the booking:

    9. Click Continue Reservation.

    10. Enter general details about the new permit in the Event Detail page.

    11. Click Continue, and continue with the reservation process in the same way as for a regular reservation.

    12. Note: If you want to give returning renters the chance to book facilities before the general public, configure the advance booking days for returning renters in the Advanced Reservations section of the Facility Configuration page.
