Adding or modifying an attendance code

Use attendance codes to track instructor and customer attendance for activities and lessons and to determine which types of attendance to include in payroll processing.

 

    1. Go to Administration > Registration Settings > Attendance Codes.

    2. Choose one of the following:

      • To add a new attendance code, click Add New.

      • To modify an existing attendance code, click the code Name.

    3. Enter a Description of the attendance code.

    4. Enter the actual Code.

    5. Choose one of the following:

      • To exclude the attendance code from payroll processing, select Exclude from Payroll.

      • To include the attendance code in payroll processing, disable Exclude from Payroll.

    6. Choose one of the following:

      • If the attendance code describes an instructor or customer who was absent for a class, select Mark as Unattended.

      • If the attendance code describes an instructor or customer who was present for a class, disable Mark as Unattended.

    7. (Optional) For private lessons which need to be rescheduled (make-up lessons), select Mark as needing to be re-scheduled.

    8. To specify that a customer's spot in a missed meeting date may be used by a make-up class customer from another activity, select Open Spot for a Make-up Class Customer?

    9. To send the instructor a notification email when their customer uses this attendance code, select Send Notification Email to Instructor of Planned Absence?

    10. Click Save.
