Configuring make-up classes for an activity

Use this page to modify settings of make-up classes for activities of an activity type. You can set up make-up classes in an equivalent activity or accept make-up classes from other activities.

 

    1. Go to Administration > Registration Settings > Activities.

    2. Search for and select the activity that you want to configure.

    3. On the Activity Functions page, click Configure Make-up Classes.

    4. To specify that you want customers in this activity to be able to take a make-up class in another activity if they can't make one of their classes:

      1. Select Allow customers to schedule make-up classes in an equivalent activity.

      2. Choose one of the following:

        1. To specify that customers will be allowed to schedule a make-up class for a missed meeting date only if explicitly granted authorization, click Authorization required for each make-up class.

        2. To specify a default number of make-up classes for missed meeting dates over the course of the activity, click Make-up class allotment of [X] make-up class(es) per customer.

      3. If necessary, specify a limit on the time to schedule an authorized make-up class after a planned absence has been entered.

      4. Specify activities that are acceptable to use for the current activity's make-up classes.

    5. To specify that you want customers in other activities to be able to attend a class in this activity as a make-up class if they can't make one of their own classes:

      1. Select Accept make-up class(s) customers from other Activities.

      2. Enter the Default # of make-up class customers accepted for all meeting dates of this activity.

      3. Click Apply.

      4. Change the # of Make-up Class Customers Accepted for specific meeting dates, if necessary.

    6. Click Save.
