Use the Transfer Balance page to move debits to another customer or company in the system.
Go to Front Desk > Transfer Balance.
Notes:
To transfer debits, you must enable the Account Balance widget as viewable in the enhanced view.
You can also get to the Transfer Balance page from Front Desk > Population > Customers > search for and select a customer > Transfer Balance or from Administration > Population Settings > Customers > search for and select a customer > Transfer Balance.
Search for and select the customer to transfer debits from in the Find Customer section.
Search for and select the customer or company that you want to receive the debits in the Find Customer/Company to Transfer To section.
If transferring to a company:
Select an agent from the Agents list in the Company Agents section.
Click Submit.
In the Transfer Debits section, enter an amount that you want to transfer in the Transfer Amount column.
Select a debit G/L account in the Debit G/L Account column.
Enter a Description for the debit.
Click the checkbox in the Transfer column for each item that you want to transfer.
Click Submit.
