Configuring enhanced customer account view

Create one or more layouts to specify one or more different ways to arrange the information that displays on the enhanced customer account page.

 

1. Choose one of the following:

1. To create a new layout, click Add New.

2. To edit an existing layout, click a Layout Name.

3. To create a new layout based on an existing layout, click Copy for the layout that you want to start from.

2. Add, remove or move widgets in the Widget Layout Editor (see the Widget Layout Editor section below).

3. Add or edit the Layout Name, if necessary.

4. Click Save.

 

Choose one or more of the following:

• To specify the default layout for your organization, click Default Layout for Customer View? for one of the layouts in the list (you can override this default layout at individual sites and for specific staff users in the steps below).

• To specify the default layout for a site in your organization:

1. Go to Administration > Locations > Sites.

2. Select a site.

3. In the Override Customer Configuration > Customer View section, select Use Enhanced Customer View for the Customer Record View Type.

4. Select an Enhanced Customer View Layout.

5. Save your changes.

• To specify the default layout for one of your staff users:

1. Go to Administration > System Settings > System Users.

2. Select a user.

3. In the Options section, select Use Enhanced Customer View for the Customer Record View Type.

4. Select an Enhanced Customer View Layout.

5. Save your changes.

 

1. Click the Layout Name for the layout that you want to delete.

2. In the Widget Layout Editor, click Delete.

 

• Click to add a new widget.

• Click to move a widget left, right, up, or down depending on the direction of the arrow.

• Click to remove a widget.

• In the History tab, click Edit Filter Options to select which filters to use (e.g. by customer or date) for the information in the History widget.
