You can determine facility capacity by facility type, facility, or by the specific event type at the facility. You do not need to define facility capacities at the event type level if the capacity is the same for all event types. For example: If the capacity in a facility is the same regardless whether it is rented for a wedding or a meeting, there is no need to specify the capacity by event type.
The minimum and maximum capacity determines what facilities are returned during the facility reservation search process. ACTIVE Net first checks the capacity levels at the facility event type, then the facility levels. If the minimum or maximum fields are 0 for the facility event type and the facility, then ACTIVE Net checks the corresponding field in the facility type. Only if all of the facility event type, the facility, and facility type have both minimum and maximum of 0 is the capacity unlimited.
Prior to assigning event capacities, configure event types and facilities.
Go to Administration > Facility Settings > Facilities.
Select a facility.
Click Change Facility Event Capacities.
