Adding or modifying a facility or equipment type

Facility and equipment types are attached to facilities and are used during the reservation process to assist with the search for a facility or equipment. They can also be used when running reports to find out what is happening at facilities or with certain equipment types.

 

Facility and equipment types should be created so that each facility and piece of equipment will  belong to one type or another without overlap.

Note: To issue online reservation permits right away, select Permit. To allow reservation requests but require the permit to be approved by admin staff before it is finalized, select Reservation Request. To use the same setting specified in your facility configuration settings, select No Override.
