Event types are the kinds of events that occur in your facilities. They are attached to permits and are used for reporting purposes.
The event type should be as descriptive as possible to make it easy for the user to select the proper event type when creating a permit.
Choose one of the following:
Go to Administration > Facility Settings > Event Types.
Go to Administration > Equipment Settings > Event Types.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new event type, click Add New.
To modify an existing event type, click the Description of the event type.
In the General section, enter the event type Description, Prep Code, Site, and/or any other information.
Select any custom question groups that you want to link to the event type in the Custom Question Groups section, if applicable.
Select any custom questions that you want to link to the event type in the Custom Questions section, if applicable.
Select any facility types and/or facilities that you want to link to the event type in the Facilities section, if applicable.
Note: If you select both facility types and facilities, then select only facilities that are not included among the facility types that you also select.
Select any equipment types that you want to link to the event type in the Equipment Types section, if applicable.
To make this event type available to all instructor reservations, select Available for All Instructors in the Instructor Types section.
Click Save.
