Adding or modifying an alternate key status

Alternate key statuses define different levels of access within an alternate key type. Each alternate key status may or may not grant the customer membership privileges in ACTIVE Net. For example: If you have a student ID alternate key type you might create alternate key statuses to differentiate part-time, full-time or alumni students, and you might decide to give membership privileges to full-time students only.

 

    1. Go to Administration > Population Settings > Alternate Key Statuses.

    2. Choose one of the following:

    3. Enter the Name of the alternate key status.

    4. Choose one of the following, if applicable:

        1. Select Membership privileges?

        2. Note: This setting determines whether a customer can gain access to entry points using their swipe card. See Scanning Details.

        3. Enter the number of days with no action on the customer's account after which the account is locked in the Suspend if inactive for box, if applicable.

    5. Click Save.
