Adding or modifying a global discount

Use the Change Global Discount page to create or modify a global discount.

 

    1. Go to Administration > Financial Settings > Global Discounts.

    2. Note: You can also arrive at this page via the Specify Qualifying Items link on the Charge List page.

    3. Choose one of the following:

    4. Enter the Discount Name, Charge, GL Account, Discount Type, Discount Amount/Percent, and/or any other necessary information in the General section.

    6. Specify the Discount Amount or Percent in the Discount - Amount section.

    7. Specify the condition where the discount will be automatically applied in the Discount - Prefill section.

    8. Specify the minimum and maximum number of people that must be registered in order to be eligible for the discount in a multi-person registration in the Qualifies for Multi-person Registration section, if applicable.

    9. Specify the activities that qualify for the discount in the Qualifying Activities section.

    10. Specify the minimum and maximum number of activities that must be enrolled in on one receipt to be eligible for the discount in the Qualifies for Multi-activity Registration section, if applicable.

    11. Specify the daycare programs that qualify for the discount in the Qualifying Programs section.

    12. Specify the minimum and maximum number of sessions that the customer must select in a program to be eligible for the discount in the Qualifies for Multi-session Registration section, if applicable.

    13. Specify the membership packages that qualify for the discount in the Qualifying Memberships section.

    14. Specify the products that qualify for the discount in the Qualifying Products section.

    15. Enter the dates when the discount will be in effect in the Dates section.

    16. Click Save.
