Skip dates are dates when facilities are closed. No enrollments or facility reservations can be made on the skip dates. Skip dates can be either system-wide or restricted to a particular site or department.
The skip dates at a particular facility include all of the system-wide dates in addition to the skip dates specific to that site.
A skip date is for facilities that you want to close on specific dates. A holiday date is for facilities that you want to keep open and charge special rates for on specific dates. If you want to keep a facility open and charge a special rate for it on a specific date instead of closing it altogether, link it to a holiday date instead of a skip date.
