Exporting facility information for a lighting control system using the file export

You can export information about your scheduled facility bookings into a file that can then be imported into a compatible third-party lighting control system (such as a Musco lighting system). This allows the lighting control system software to automatically turn your buildings' lighting systems on or off as necessary, depending on when your bookings are scheduled to start (Note: The available functionality of your own system may vary).

    1. If you are using a Musco lighting system, first assign lighting IDs from Musco to your facilities and/or centers.

    2. Go to Administration > Web Admin > File Export.

    3. Select Lighting Export from the Table Name list.

    4. Click Submit.

    5. In the General section:

      1. Specify the Reservation Date range that you want to export.

      2. Specify any Facilities, Centers, Reservation Sites, Facility Types, and/or Schedule Types to filter the results of the export.

      3. Note: For example, to export all bookings for a single center, add the center that you want to use in the Center list and leave all other lists blank.

    6. In the Options section, enter the Username and Password for your Musco lighting system.

    7. Click Submit.

    8. When prompted, select to Open or Save the export *.csv file.

    9. Import the *.csv file into your lighting control system according to its own instructions.

Note: If you will be running this export on a regular basis, learn how to save your export definition and schedule the export to run automatically.
