Change pending customer

Use this page to change the status of a pending customer, as well as other customer information.

 

From the Pending Customer list, click a customer Name to go to the Pending Customer Information page where you can review and change customer information (if necessary), then Approve or Deny the customer account request.

The following fields are displayed:

First Text

First name of the customer.

Last Text

Last name of the customer.

Required.

Street Text

Street address of the customer.

 

Click the binocular icon to open the Street List page, where you can select a street.

Required.

Country

Dropdown list

Country of the customer's address.

 

Note: This option only appears if you have selected Allow international addresses in System Settings - General.

 

If you have selected a country whose states are not in ACTIVE Net's database (for example: Afghanistan), the dropdown list for states disappears, and a text box appears in its place, where you can manually enter the name of the state, and the State field is no longer a required field.

City

Text

City of the customer's address.

Required.

State Dropdown list/Textbox

State or province of the customer's address.

Required.

Zip Code Text

Zip or postal code of the customer's address.

Required.

Geographic Area

Dropdown list

Geographic area the customer resides in.

E-mail Address

Text

Email address of the customer.

Home Phone Numeric

Home phone number of the customer.

 

At least one of home phone or work phone is required.

 

The area code is required, but the extension number is optional.

Work Phone Numeric

Home phone number of the customer.

 

At least one of home phone or work phone is required.

 

The area code is required, but the extension number is optional.

Gender

Dropdown list

Gender of the customer.

Date of Birth

Date

Date of birth of customer.

Age Category

Dropdown list

 

Age category of the customer.

 

Required if you are not using the date of birth category.

Customer Type

Dropdown list

Customer type of the customer. The customer type determines the charges applied for facility reservations, as specified in the Charge Matrix.

 

Specify the default customer type on the System Settings - Online page.

 

Note: If the pending customer belongs to a family (and the main family member is already approved), then the main family member's customer type is automatically selected.

Resident?

Checkbox

Select this checkbox if the pending customer is a resident.

Site

Dropdown list

The site where the customer is assigned.

 

The site selected is the only site where you can access the customer and use them in transactions, unless you have multi-site permission.

 

To make the customer available to all sites, select All Sites.

 

Note: This field only appears if you have enabled the Enforce Site Specific Customers option.

Medical Alert Text

Medical alert notes that can be printed on the roster.

 

This text is also displayed when a special handling customer makes a transaction (for example: allergies, special medical instructions).

Denial Section

Reason Text

Reason for denying the customer account request.

Required.

Click Submit at the bottom of the Approval section to approve the customer account request.

 

Click Submit at the bottom of the Denial section to deny the customer account request.
