Custom question answer search

Use the Custom Question Answer Search page when you want to search for a specific custom question and corresponding answers. For example: when defining a custom list.

You can use the following criteria in your search:

Name of Field	Type	Description
Question Title	Text	Full or partial title of the custom question.
Question	Dropdown list	Full or partial text of the custom question.
Question Type	Dropdown list	Select a question type from the dropdown list. Note: You can configure the question types that appear in this list on the Custom Question Types page.
Answer Type	Dropdown list	Answer type of the custom question: Single Multiple Autofill
Answer Required	Dropdown list	Specify whether to search for custom questions that either require an answer or don't.
In Use?	Dropdown list	Specify whether to search for custom questions that either are in use or are not.
Demographic Related Question?	Dropdown List	To include only those custom questions that have the Demographic Related Question option selected on the Change Custom Question page, select this option.

After you select a custom question, the Custom Answer Criteria page displays. Depending on the Answer Type of the custom question, you can perform the following actions:

For Single answer type questions, enter a full or partial answer to the custom question. If no text is specified, all answers are included in the search criteria.
For Multiple answer type questions, select one or more of the answer options to include in the search criteria. Click the Select all link to select all the answer options, or the Deselect all link to deselect all the answer options. Note that you must specify at least one option before you can submit the search criteria for multiple answer type questions.
