Use this page to configure teams and groups for activities.

The following options are included on the Team/Group Configuration page:

Maximum Number of Teams

Numeric

Maximum number of teams that can be created for an activity, if team registration is allowed.

 

Enter 0 to specify that there is no maximum.

 

If a league is attached to the activity, the new number of teams is also updated in the attached league.

Minimum Members Per Team

Numeric

Minimum number of members required for a team, if team registration is allowed.

Maximum Members Per Team

Numeric

Maximum number of members allowed for a team, if team registration is allowed.

Minimum Members Per Group

Numeric

Minimum number of members required for a group.

Maximum number of members allowed for a group.

Select registration type

Select this option to configure team/group registration for this activity to team registration (default).

Group

Radio button

Select this option to configure team/group registration for this activity to group registration.

Team Options

Team Enrollment Only

Checkbox

Option to limit enrollment in this activity to teams.

 

If you select this option, then new registrants are prompted to create a new team with the registrant as contact.

 

Team members can then be added to the team at Activity Functions > Manage Team Members on the staff site, or at Account Options > Manage Teams on the public site.

Allow Team Creation

Checkbox

Option to allow the creation of teams.

 

Select this option to enable the Add Team button in the Team/Group section during the enrollment process on the staff site.

Allow Team Creation Online

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to create teams on the customer (public access) site.

Hide Existing Contact Logon Section for Team Creation Online

Checkbox

If you select both this option and the Hide New Contact Section for Team Creation Online option (below), then the Login not required for online activity enrollment? option (at Administration > Registration Settings > Activities > Change Details > Options section) functions as if it is turned off.

 

This option is unavailable if the Login not required for online activity enrollment? option is disabled at Administration > Registration Settings > Configuration > Enrollment Settings section or at Administration > Registration Settings > Activities > Change Details > Options section.

Force Team Selection for This Activity

Checkbox

Option to force team selection for this activity.

Allow Team Assignment Online

Checkbox

Option to allow team assignment on the customer site during online registration.

 

If you select this option, then participants can assign themselves to teams during online registration.

Ignore age restriction for Team Contact

Checkbox

To specify a team contact who does not meet the age restriction for an activity:

 

  1. Select Ignore age restriction for Team Contact?

  2. Note: The team contact is not enrolled as a team member.

  3. On the Participant Information page on the public site, select Team Contact (Do not enroll into Team).

 

Tip: Use this option for youth activities where participants are younger than 13 (default age restriction for login rights) so you can specify an adult as the team contact.

Hide New Contact Section for Team Creation Online

Checkbox

If you do not want online customers to be able to add a new coach or team contact on the public access site, select this option. If you have selected this option, only staff users are able to add new coaches or team contacts.

 

If this option and the Hide Existing Contact Logon Section for Team Creation Online option (below) are both selected, then the Login not required for online activity enrollment? option (at Administration > Registration Settings > Activities > Change Details > Options section) functions as if it is turned off.

Team Contact- My Account Function

View Members

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to view team members on the customer (public access) site.

Remove Members

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to remove team members on the customer (public access) site.

Add Member

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to add team members on the customer (public access) site.

Edit Member Information

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to edit team members' information on the customer (public access) site.

Edit Team Members Levels

Option to allow online customers to edit team members' levels on the customer (public access) site.

Edit Team Information

Option to allow online customers to edit team information on the customer (public access) site.

Transfer Members

Checkbox

Option to allow online customers to transfer team members on the customer (public access) site.

View Custom Questions/Answers

Checkbox

Select this checkbox to allow team contacts to view custom questions and answers on the Team member management page of the public site.

Amend Members Registration

Checkbox

Option to allow the amendment of team members on the customer (public access) site.

View/Pay Outstanding Balances

Checkbox

Select this checkbox to allow team contacts to view or pay their outstanding balances on the Team member management page of the online site.

 

Note: This option is disabled if you have selected Team pays lump sum for all members from the Default Team Payment Scenario list.

Default Team Payment Scenario

Dropdown list

Default team payment scenario.

Team Roll-over Online

Checkbox

Select this checkbox to display the team roll-over function on the public site.

 

Note: This option is only displayed if you have selected Team pays lump sum for all members from the Default Team Payment Scenario list.

Default Team Contact Type

Dropdown list

Option to select the default team contact type.

 

You can create team contacts on the Contact Types page.

Group Options

Allow Group Creation

Checkbox

Option to allow the addition of groups.

Allow Group Creation Online

Checkbox

Option to allow the addition of groups on the customer (public access) site.

Ignore age restriction for Group Contact

Checkbox

To specify a group contact who does not meet the age restriction for an activity:

Default Group Payment Scenario

Dropdown list

Default group payment scenario:

  • All members pay individually

  • All members pay individually and teams can pre-pay members

  • Team pays lump sum for all members

Default Group Contact Type

Dropdown list

Option to select the default group contact type.
