Creating an internal administration or maintenance booking

The process for creating an internal booking with no charge can be a lot quicker than the process for a regular customer booking, though the two processes are very similar.

 

Note: Make sure you have configured one of your schedule types to apply specifically to internal bookings, or else the number of steps for internal bookings will not be reduced.

 

    1. Go to Front Desk > Reserve Facility.

    2. On the Find Reservation Candidates page, select the Schedule Type that you have dedicated to zero-charge internal bookings.

    3. Enter other information in the Find Reservation Candidates page as normal, and click Continue.

    4. Enter information in the Reservation Dates page as normal, and click Continue Reservation.

    5. On the Confirm Candidate Resources page, select the resource that you want to book.

    6. Click Reserve Selected.

 

Note: The process will now complete and a receipt will display. If you are still prompted to search for a customer or enter information on the Reservation Fees page, verify that your schedule type is configured to hide all sections and default to a drop-in customer or the logged in user, if necessary.
