You can modify the approval status of a permit (along with its expiration date, checklist items, and approval stages) at any time, as long as you have the system permissions to do so.
Choose one of the following:
Go to Front Desk > Reserve > Permits, search for and select the permit that you want to modify, then click Change Status / Checklist / Stages.
Go to Front Desk > Reserve > Approve Permits and click the Status of the permit that you want to modify on the Approve/Deny Permit List page.
Choose one of the following:
To approve the permit and finalize it for reservation, click Approved.
To indicate that the permit may or may not be finalized, click Tentative.
To issue the permit, click Issued.
To indicate that the permit is awaiting a decision by a staff person before it can be finalized, click Waiting Decision.
To indicate that there is a technical issue with the permit that must be fixed before the permit can be applied, click On Hold.
Note: You can enter a hold reason and additional text for a permit that is on hold.
To deny the permit for the time being and prevent it from being scheduled, click Denied.
To deny the permit for not successfully passing a stage and prevent it from being scheduled for the present stage, click Stage Denied.
To change the permit expiration date, enter a new date in the Permit Expiration Date section.
Note: The new expiration date cannot be earlier than the current date.
Click Save.
