A stage sequence is a series of stages that have to be approved prior to moving forward towards an approval with a reservation.
Stage sequences are attached to the standard charges.
For individual steps, forms or waivers that need to be completed, a checklist item can be attached directly to the event type.
Prior to creating stage sequences, the following data points must be created:
Select the Administration tab.
Select the following menu links: Facility Settings > Stage Sequences.
To add
From the Stage Sequence List page, clicking Add New brings you to the Change Stage Sequence page, allowing you to create a new record.
To modify
From the Stage Sequence List page, clicking an underlined stage sequence Name displays the Change Stage Sequence page, allowing you to make any necessary changes.
On the Change Stage Sequence page, you will find the following input fields, with the option to Save or Delete the record at the bottom of the table:
Name of Field | Type | Description |
Stage Sequence Name | Text | The name of the stage sequence to be selected at
the time of creating standard charges.

Once a stage sequence has been given a name, you can define the stages and what they link to using the following options:
Name of Field | Type | Description |
Stage Sequences |

START | Dropdown list | Starting point of the stage sequence, as selected
from a predefined list of possible stages.
Defaults to END. Selecting a stage will add it as a step in the stage sequence. Selecting REMOVE will remove the stage from the stage sequence. |

This list will be populated by starting points that have an ending point other than END. |

The table below is an example of a stage sequence with parallel stages where the permit must first be approved by both the Center Supervisor and the Facility Superintendent then must be approved by the Director.
The last two stages listed in the table are a parallel stage that breaks off at the start and joins back up with Director Approval.
