A stage sequence is a series of stages required for reservation approval. Each stage has to be approved by one of your system users before moving forward to the next stage towards final approval of the reservation. Link your stage sequences to standard charges.
If you have individual steps, forms or waivers that need to be completed for some permits, attach a checklist item to the event type that those permits will use.
Choose one of the following:
Go to Administration > Facility Settings > Stage Sequences.
Go to Administration > Equipment Settings > Stage Sequences.
Choose one of the following:
To create a new stage sequence:
Click Add New.
Enter the Stage Sequence Name for the stage sequence.
Click Save.
To modify an existing stage sequence, click the Name of the stage sequence that you want to modify.
In the Stage Sequences section:
To add a new stage to the sequence:
Locate the Links To ... box marked END.
Change the box from END to the name of the stage that you want to add.
Note: Another Links To ... box appears marked END.
To change a stage in the sequence, change the appropriate Links To ... box from the old stage to the new stage.
To remove a stage from the sequence, change its Links To ... box to REMOVE.
To start a parallel stage sequence, select a starting point from the Start a Parallel Stage list.
Note: Use a parallel stage sequence when a permit must be approved by more than one system user at the same point in the sequence (see example below). The Start a Parallel Stage list contains only starting points that have an ending point other than END.
To remove all stages from the sequence and start over, click Clear All Stages.
In the Associate section, select required Event Types, Facility Types, Facilities, Customer Types and Custom Questions to associate with the stage sequence. The stage sequence will only be applied to reservation in the specified Event Types, Facility Types, Facilities, Customer Types and Custom Questions.
Note: that this section only applies to the Facility Management module.
Click Save.
Note: The table below illustrates a stage sequence with parallel stages. In this case the permit must first be approved by both the Center Supervisor and the Facility Superintendent, then must be approved by the Director. The last two stages listed in the table are a parallel stage that breaks off at the start and joins back up with Director Approval.
