You can link an equipment reservation to a specific facility reservation when you are setting up a new event. The equipment will be attached to the facility so that if you ever need to reschedule the reservation's dates and times or move to a different facility, the equipment will automatically be rescheduled or moved as well.
Go to Front Desk > Reserve Facility.
On the Find Reservation Candidates page, enter the event information and reservation information for this reservation.
Enter search criteria for the facility and equipment or equipment package that you want to reserve.
Note: You must search for both facilities and equipment or equipment packages from this page in order to create a reservation that links equipment to a facility. Make sure that you have search criteria entered for both facilities and equipment or equipment packages, and that your event type is set up to include both facility and equipment reservations.
Click Continue.
On the Reservation Dates page, specify the dates and times for this reservation.
Click Continue Reservation.
On the Confirm Candidate Resources page:
Select the checkbox of the facility that you want to reserve.
Click Select Equipment in the Attached Equipment column.
In the Equipment List window, select the equipment and/or equipment package to book together with this facility.
Click Done.
Note: You will only see the Select Equipment link if your original search was for both facilities and equipment or equipment packages. The equipment that appears in the Equipment List window is determined by the search criteria in your original search. If you do not see the equipment or equipment package that you want to book, click Back on the Confirm Candidate Resources page and try your search again with different criteria.
Click Reserve Selected.
Continue with the reservation as usual.
