Overview of the approval process for instructor availability hours

Enable instructor availability approval if you batch copy your instructor availability hours and you don't want to have to contact each of your instructors individually to confirm that their hours are still current. If you enable the instructor availability approval process, then your instructors can confirm their own availability hours on the public site.

 

Confirmed availability hours have been reviewed by instructors. Instructors can confirm their hours to let your organization know that they have looked over the hours and are willing to use them for the new time period.

 

Approved availability hours have been reviewed by staff users. Hours that are approved are officially available for booking. Staff can wait to approve hours until they have been confirmed by instructors, or they can approve them without instructor confirmation if necessary. Once staff have approved availability hours, instructors can no longer modify their own hours—they will require staff approval if they need to make any changes.
