Activities are the classes or sessions (dates, times and locations) that customers can register in.
An activity may have sub-activities, in which case customers can only register in its sub-activities and not in the parent activity itself.
Note: The menu and page titles for activities and sub-activities may vary depending on the activity and sub-activity wordings assigned in System Settings > Wording Configuration.

Reservation PatternReservation patterns are combinations of days and times that you can assign to one or more facilities in order to quickly create a schedule of classes for an activity.
Reservation patterns are templates that ACTIVE Net uses to create each activity's class schedule.
The number of reservation patterns you create for each activity depends on the complexity of each activity's schedule: a simple schedule that has regular classes in a single facility may need only one reservation pattern, while a schedule with different days and times at multiple facilities needs multiple reservation patterns.
Note: If your activity has a complicated schedule, you may want to modify the Date Description field above to replace the automatically-generated summary of dates with your own description of the schedule. |

Online Quota Override number For number days after in-person registration starts
(Only displayed if set up by Active staff) |
Numeric |
Enter a number of registrations and a number of days if you want to ensure that a portion of your enrollments are reserved for customers who may not have access to an internet connection.
The number of registrations refers to the maximum number of registrations allowed online on the customer (public access) site.
Use this number to limit the number of enrollments on the customer site and to reserve a specific percentage of enrollment slots for in-person registration.
After the activity reaches the maximum number of registrations, override permission is needed for further online registrations.
After specifying a number of enrollments, enter a number of days after which the restriction on online enrollments will expire.
For example: If your activity fills up quickly as soon as it is open to online enrollment, then you may decide to specify a maximum online enrollment of 75% until 7 days after in-person registration starts. In this case, online customers who enroll as soon as they can will fill up a maximum of 75% of your seats for your activity, but you will still have 25% of your seats available to customers who enroll in person. If your activity is not yet full after 7 days, then online enrollment is re-opened. This maximizes the number of enrollments that you take while still ensuring that your customers who don't have access to online registration get the chance to enroll.
To use this feature, contact your ACTIVE Net account manager. |
